| Welcome to Bowler, WI Scenery along the Mountain-Bay Trail
This trail is used for walking and biking in summer and for snowmobiling and four-wheeling in winter. The trail runs from Green Bay to Wausau, WI. Bowler meets halfway along the trail.
Bowler School District is located in north central Wisconsin, halfway between the cities of Green Bay and Wausau. Bowler is a rural school, located within a small, friendly community. This quiet village is nestled amongst beautiful, heavily wooded farmland and rolling hills, all situated along the banks of the North Branch of the Embarrass River, one of Wisconsin's best trout fishing streams. Bowler's fertile agricultural area is home to a multitude of white-tailed deer, bald eagles, rainbow trout, wolves, fox, wild turkeys, bobcat, black bear and other small game animals.
Bowler began as a small logging community and is proud to say it neighbors the Stockbridge-Munsee Indian Reservationhome to the Mohican Nation. Our diverse culture and heritage has made us distinctly unique. We invite the world to come visit, learn, and communicate with us, as we in turn seek to learn more of you.
Our citizenry is proud of the school's fiber-optic connections, state of the art computer network and technological literacy. These tools provide our students, teachers, staff, and community members with access to greater banks of knowledge, and varied ways to communicate. The world is now close at hand. We look forward to visiting world-wide destinations from the quiet and beautiful setting that we are proud to call home...Bowler, WI. View of school and community
