I grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin (a town I had previous thought "small" with its ten thousand-some residents). From there, I attended college at UW Green Bay, took a job in Sauk City teaching French, and wound up having a phone interview that brought me to Bowler.

When it comes to hobbies, I enjoy dog training and harvesting whatever is in season while testing the patience of my wife.

As a child, I thought being either a cowboy, a mountain man, or a fishing guide would be a wise career move, but those dreams were thwarted when I discovered "bills" existed.

My favorite thing about teaching in Bowler is the strange family-like atmosphere. I appreciate how we can totally disagree one day and help each other out the next. As one veteran staff member put it, "Here at Bowler we take care of our own".
