Papel Picado

October was Hispanic Heritage month. Some of Mrs. Thiex’s art classes learned about Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, a celebration that takes place on November 1 and 2. Our hallway is full of papel picado banners, sugar skulls, and alebrije inspired sculptures.
